Stars under the sun
She hides behind brightly-colored sunglasses, but we recognize her nonetheless, as she never passes incognito: it's the Stella Cadente woman. She wears tunics and low-waisted skirts in lurex knit with long fringe, silver shorts or pants in iridescent or lacquered jersey, maybe with a fringed cape, miniature triangle bikinis with double bottoms, sometimes with a constructed pearl skirt (jewelry/clothing being one of the designer's specialties), fluid dresses with thin straps and a loose décolleté in violet or ivory knit blended with phosphorescent threads. For a more relaxed look, she wears fluid drawstring pants and short shorts, luxurious embroidered hooded jogging suits, and jackets, capri pants or jeans sprinkled with crystal rhinestones. At the height of summer, she blends floral prints and printed cashmere with blouses knotted at the waist, short asymmetrical tops, drawstring pajama pants, frilly capri pants and pareo skirts, small tops or tank tops in pleated chiffon or grey or kakhi smocking, or camouflage dresses in hand-painted silk attached to a neck ring. For evening, she dares to step out in a backless top or a loincloth skirt of white threads, a necklace of white threads in the guise of a top, or a bra made of crystal mesh with a loose black skirt. As a bride, she wraps a large white cape over a corolla dress with an Empire waistline.
