CETTE PAGE EN FRANCAIS
Black is bright
He wears a brightly colored kilt, of course, in homage to his Scottish roots. But his clothes are rigorously monochromatic and he uses only one kind of fabric, a coated material, but with many different qualities: waterproof, stain proof, thermo-regulating, etc. This unique, shiny material is used in a wide variety of ways for this "passage" collection, illustrating the contradictions of our end-of-the-millennium era. The clothes combine uniformity and individuality, hope and anxiety, violence and pollution and the desire for protection. There are laced raincoats with wide lapels, trench coats, tight-fitting pants ensembles, blouses, asymmetrical skirts with extra panels and low-cut tops. The models were presented as exquisite creatures of the night with pale complexions and lips with smoky eyes and cheeks, and messy braids that accentuated the Dark City science fiction ambiance.
